Come and join two of Scotland’s leading traditional musicians Eilidh Steel & Mark Neal for an inspiring mixed instrument workshop which is open to all musicians and singers. The workshop will explore learning traditional tunes and song and then work together to arrange a piece for all the instruments and voices. There will be an opportunity at the end to invite any friends and family along to enjoy a short performance of the arranged piece.
Eilidh Steel & Mark Neal (fiddle, guitar and song) are leading lights in the Scottish traditional music scene, playing traditional music and song strongly influenced by the music from Argyll and the West coast of Scotland alongside their own original compositions. Their passion for the music and their effortless musicianship clearly shines through in their performances.
